Coolers, the name of these drinks describes the effect they produce on those that consume them. Some are made with liqueurs, others are absolutely alcohol free drinks.

Boston Cooler

Put in a large tumpler the peel of a whole lemon, a lump of ice and equal parts of Sarsaparilla and Ginger Ale>
Serve and drink when fizzy

Brunswick Cooler

In a large tumbler put
The strained juice of a lemon
1 teaspoon of Sugar Syrup
1 or 2 lumps of ice and add cold Ginger Ale.
Stir up and serve

Bull Dog

In a large tumbler put
A big lump of ice
The juice of a lemon
3/4 gill of Gin
A little Sugar Syrup (if desired sweet)
Fill up eith iced Belfast Ginger Ale.
Stir up and serve

Cablegram

In a large tumbler put
A big lump of ice
The juice of a lemon
3/4 gill of Rye Whiskey
A little Sugar Syrup (if desired sweet)
Fill up eith iced Belfast Ginger Ale.
Stir up and serve

Fill the shaker half full of broken ice, add a few dashes of plain Syrup
the juice of half a Lemon and 1/2 gill of Whisky
Shake well and strain into a large tumbler
fill up with Vichy water and decorate with fruit

Remsen Cooler

In a large tumbler put
A big lump of ice
The juice of a lemon
3/4 gill of Remsens Scotch Whisky
A little Sugar Syrup (if desired sweet)
Fill up eith iced Belfast Ginger Ale.
Stir up and serve

Rocky Mountain Cooler

Fill the shaker half full of ice and add
The whole of a fresh egg
Sugar Syrup according to taste
The juice of a lemon
Shake well and strain into a tumbler, fill up the balance with cold Cider and grate a little Nutmeg on top

Saratoga Cooler

In a large tumbler put
The strained juice of a lime
1 teaspoon of Sugar Syrup
1 or 2 lumps of ice and add cold Ginger Ale.
Stir up and serve

Tod's Cooler

In a large tumbler put
The juice of half a lemon
1/2 gill of Gin
1/6 gill of Cassis de Dijon
1 or 2 lumps of ice
Fill up with cold Soda
Stir up gently and serve
This drink was very popular in racing circles in the summer of 1910 in Ostend and Brussels and during the following winter on the Riviera. it was first introduced by the once famour jockey Tod Sloan at the Palace Hotel, Brussels in 1910

Zenith Cooler

Smash a thick slice of pine apple and strain the juice carefully into a large tumbler.
Add Sugar Syrup according to taste
3/4 gill of Gin and 2 lumps of ice
Fill up the glass with cold Soda Water.
Stir up and serve with a piece of pineapple in the glass
