Invalid Drinks
The Sours are cooling and refreshing drinks. They are prepared generally with Gin, Brandy Rum or Whisky

Brandy Sour

Fill the shaker half full of broken ice, add a few dashes of plain Syrup, the juice of half a Lemon and 1/2 gill of Brandy
Shake well and strain into a wine glass
Add a dash of Soda on top and decorate with fruit
A few drops of Egg white improves all Sours

Continental Sour

Made the same way as the Brandy sour but with a dash of Claret on top

Egg Sour

Made the same way as the Brandy sour but substitute fresh egg for the Brandy

Victoria Sour

The ingredients are
1/4 gill of Whisky
1/4 gill of Sherry
A dash of Rum
Sweetened with equal parts of Pineapple Syrup and Apricot Syrup
