Frappe is the French word for well iced and is used when referring to wines and liqueurs

Brooklyn Kummel Frappee

Fill a small wine glass full of fine shaved ice and add on top a slice of Lemon. Pour the Kummel over it

Cut Kummel Frappee

Champagne Frappee

The Champagne bottle is put into a silver cooler surrounded by ice and left until thoroughly cold. Usually freezing salt is added to hasten cooling

The required liqueur is poured into a cocktail glass which has been filled up with fine shaved ice and a pair of small straws are served with it
